We are different from most other speech therapists -
and that's on purpose!
At Speech Strategies, we know that you as a parent know your child best. Therefore, we strive to work with you to develop goals and strategies and encourage active participation in sessions.
Parent Participation
Tired of tablework? Let's take a nature walk in the woods on our trail. Or maybe we just need to move to the floor to stretch out. We have options to meet everyone’s needs.
Flexible Spaces
Can’t make it this week? Let’s change our session to online! We can work together to meet your family’s needs.
Flexible Scheduling
Let’s tell our stories to Skye, River, or Chuck, some of the ducks in the courtyard, or practice our fluent speech with our hypoallergenic therapy dog, Blue.
Animal Assisted Therapy
We can also help support you at IEP meetings, review IEP paperwork with you, or help advocate for the services your child or teen needs in a school setting. Ask for more details!
School Support
Our Mission
At Speech Strategies, we believe language is critical to forming relationships and interacting with others. Our goal is to empower children and families to build their confidence and ensure they are best supported socially, emotionally and academically.

An evaluation dated within one year of the start of service is required for all services. We can accept evaluations from schools or other agencies on a case by case basis.
